Laminate consists of a decorative surface which
is protected by a wear-resistant layer above it, and strengthened
by a sturdy fibre backing.
Laminate flooring products are manufactured to replicate wood, but
at a much lower cost. Padding can be placed beneath laminate flooring
for extra comfort.
- Easy to install.
- Can often be laid directly over existing flooring, which saves
time and money.
- When properly installed and sealed with silicone at its edges,
laminates are water resistant.
- Easy maintenance.
- Superior durability.
- Sustained look and feel.
- Most laminate flooring is manufactured with a 'wear layer' which
protects it against scratches, scuffs and stains.

Cleaning and maintenance of laminate floorcovering
is easy!
A mop with an ammonia-based floor cleaner will remove dirt and leave
a shine. Vacuum the laminate floor before mopping if there is soil
that needs to be removed. There is no need to polish or wax laminate
flooring, and it should not be buffed or sanded as this will damage
the surface.
